Sherri L. Nelson is an Associate in the Law Firm of Midgett & Preti PC.  Mrs. Nelson is a graduate from Radford University where she received her B.S. in English and Political Science and her M.A. in English.  She received her Juris Doctor degree from the Moritz College of Law of The Ohio State University.  While at Ohio State, Mrs. Nelson participated in the Jessup International law national moot court competition, was a member o the Pro Bono Legal Research Group, and was a judicial extern with the honorable Edmund A. Sargus, Jr., United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.  During law school, she also taught freshman English at Columbus State Community College. 

Mrs. Nelson joined Midgett & Preti PC in January 2008.  She focuses her practice on estate planning, estate and trust administration, fiduciary litigation, and family business planning.  Mrs. Nelson also has experience in the areas of collections, real estate, commercial litigation, and litigation involving toxic torts.
